  • Flat, stable surface required (15-20 cm thick concrete slab ideal)
  • Slab dimensions: allow 30-50 cm more on each side than the dimensions of the spa
  • Minimum access required: 1 metre wide for spa passage (crane delivery possible if access is restricted)
  • Electrical connection by a certified electrician (three-phase 16A power supply with 30mA differential circuit breaker)
  • Complete installation in 1 day, hot water available within 24-48 hours
  • Can be customized with wood composite, stone or planted perimeter cladding

Flush-mounted installation

  • Perfect integration into your landscape or garden environment
  • Requires earthworks and creation of a pit with drainage
  • Precise installation plan provided for your mason or our team
  • Creation of a mandatory technical access hatch (min. 70×70 cm)

  • Complete installation in 2-3 days by our specialized technicians
  • Integrated equipment room: no equipment visible from the outside

Frequently asked questions about swim spas

What is the difference between an Endless Pool swim spa and others?

An Endless Pool swim spa is distinguished by its exclusive countercurrent swimming system, which generates a wide, deep, turbulence-free flow of water, unlike conventional swim spas that use jets.

Endless Pool’s patented technology creates a swimming current comparable to that of a natural river, enabling a more authentic swimming experience.

Dual-zone models also offer the option of setting different temperatures for the swim zone (ideally 28°C) and the spa zone (up to 37°C), an advantage not offered by single-zone spas.

How much does an Endless Pool spa cost?

The price of an Endless Pool swim spa ranges from CHF24’495 to CHF63’795, depending on the model and options chosen. Factors influencing price include:

  • Model type (single-zone or dual-zone)
  • Dimensions (from 4.57m to 6.1m)
  • Swim technology (SwimCross or Endless Pool)
  • Additional options (chromotherapy, audio system, access staircase)

Entry-level SwimCross models start at CHF24’495, while top-of-the-range dual-zone Endless Pool models with advanced features start at CHF49’995. Installation and delivery are included on all models.

What authorization is required to install a swim spa?

The permits required to install an Endless Pool swim spa depend mainly on its surface area and type of installation:

  • No authorization required for uncovered spas with a pool area of no more than 10m² or for temporary installations (less than 3 months).
  • Prior declaration of work required for spas with a surface area greater than 10m² but less than 100m² (Cerfa form n°13703*02).
  • Planning permission is required for spas with an enclosure over 1.80 m high, regardless of surface area.

It’s essential to consult your local town hall’s urban planning department, as the rules may vary according to your commune’s Plan Local d’Urbanisme (PLU).

How do I maintain a swim spa on a daily basis?

Daily maintenance of an Endless Pool swim spa is simple and takes less than 5 minutes:

  1. Daily check: Check water level and basic parameters (pH between 7.2 and 7.6, disinfectant).
  2. Weekly maintenance:
    • Clean the water line with a soft sponge
    • Add the necessary water treatment (chlorine, bromine or active oxygen)
    • Check and clean skimmers
  3. Monthly maintenance:
    • Clean filters (every 2-3 months, depending on use)
    • Analyze water thoroughly (hardness, alkalinity)
  4. Quarterly maintenance:
    • Clean thoroughly with a waterline degreaser
    • Check the condition of the thermal blanket

Endless Pool models are equipped with a high-performance filtration system that considerably reduces maintenance time compared with a traditional pool.

What's the difference between a single-zone and a dual-zone swim spa?

The main difference between a single-zone and a dual-zone Endless Pool spa is the separation of spaces and temperature management:

Endless Pool single-zone swim spa

  • A unique pool for swimming and relaxation
  • Uniform temperature throughout the pool (generally compromised at 30-32°C)
  • More compact dimensions (generally 4.57m x 2.25m)
  • More affordable prices
  • Ideal for small spaces

Endless Pool bi-zone swim spa

  • Two separate pools: one for swimming and one for the spa
  • Independently adjustable temperatures (28°C for swimming, 37°C for spa)
  • Larger dimensions (typically 6.1m x 2.25m)
  • Higher rate
  • Optimum comfort to combine sport and relaxation without compromise

The dual-zone model offers a superior experience, allowing you to swim in cool water and then immediately relax in warm water, without having to compromise on the ideal temperature for each activity.

Can you install a swim spa yourself?

Installing an Endless Pool swim spa yourself is not recommended for several reasons:

  1. Technical complexity: This equipment requires specific electrical connections (three-phase 16A) to be made by a certified electrician.
  2. Weight and dimensions: A swim spa weighs between 1,800 and 2,500 kg empty and requires specialized lifting equipment.
  3. Basic requirements: The spa must be installed on a perfectly level, reinforced concrete slab (minimum thickness 15-20 cm).
  4. Warranty: Installation by an authorized professional is often a condition for maintaining the validity of the 5-year warranty.

At Atelier Nordic, we include professional installation, including delivery, positioning, connections and commissioning. Our certified technicians will also train you in the use and maintenance of your Endless Pool.

How long does an Endless Pool spa last?

The service life of an Endless Pool swim spa is typically 20 to 30 years with proper maintenance. Many owners have owned their spas for over 25 years, with original components still working. This exceptional longevity is due to :

  • High-quality, UV- and chemical-resistant reinforced acrylic shell that looks like new for decades.
  • The marine-grade 316L stainless steel chassis completely prevents corrosion, even in salty or damp environments.
  • High-density multi-layer insulation protects components from temperature and humidity variations.
  • Industrial-grade pumps and motors designed for continuous heavy-duty operation, equivalent to those used in commercial installations.
  • Modular design, allowing easy replacement of individual components without affecting the whole system.

Wearing parts such as pumps have an average service life of 10 to 15 years before replacement is necessary, far beyond the industry norm. The exclusive Endless Pool propulsion system has been designed to operate for tens of thousands of hours without failure.

Endless Pool models come with an exceptional 5-year warranty on the structure, 3 years on the equipment and 2 years on the jets and accessories. This extended warranty testifies to the manufacturer’s confidence in the quality and durability of its products, made in the USA to the highest standards.

With an initial investment slightly higher than market alternatives, an Endless Pool swim spa represents excellent long-term value for money, thanks to its exceptional durability and low maintenance costs.

How deep is an Endless Pool spa?

The depth of an Endless Pool swim spa varies between 1.22m and 1.52m depending on the model:

SwimCross models have a standard depth of 1.22m, ideal for families and aqua-aerobics.
Top-of-the-range Endless Pool models offer depths from 1.32m to 1.52m, ideal for swimming and advanced aquatic exercises.

This depth is strategically calculated to allow :

  • Optimum swimming posture without touching the bottom
  • Sufficient immersion to reduce impact on joints
  • Effective aquagym and aquajogging exercise
  • Safety for users of all sizes

The constant depth over the entire length of the pool is an advantage over traditional sloped-bottom pools.

How does the Endless Pool counter-current swimming system work?

The Endless Pool countercurrent swimming system operates on a unique principle that sets it apart from other swim spas on the market:

  1. Hydraulic turbine technology: unlike traditional jets, this system uses a protected propeller to generate a wide (60 cm), deep current.
  2. Redirection ducts: Water flows through specially designed ducts that eliminate turbulence and create a laminar flow similar to that of a natural river.
  3. Adjustable speed: The power of the current can be precisely set by a waterproof remote control, from 0 to 5:30/100m, suitable for both beginners and experienced swimmers.
  4. Swimming mirror: An optional mirror placed at the bottom of the pool allows you to correct your swimming technique in real time.

This patented system offers a superior swimming experience to traditional jets, with a wider, deeper and steadier current that allows natural swimming without lateral drift.

Can Endless Pool spas be used outdoors all year round?

Yes, Endless Pool swim spas are designed for year-round outdoor use, even in regions with harsh winters, thanks to :

  • Premium multi-layer insulation that efficiently retains heat and reduces energy consumption.
  • High-density thermal blanket (8-12 cm thick) to limit heat loss.
  • A high-performance heating system capable of maintaining a constant temperature of up to 40°C.
  • The reinforced structure is weather-, frost- and UV-resistant.

In winter, the water temperature can be maintained at a comfortable level (28-32°C) whatever the outside climate. The experience of swimming in warm water when the ambient air is cold creates a particularly pleasant sensation, especially with the formation of steam on the water’s surface.

Electricity consumption rises by around 25-30% in the colder months compared with summer.
